Alora

Once a mortal over a millennium ago, Alora was the First chosen by Destiny, Master of Time, to become a Guardian.

Alora is the Guardian of the Sun and of the Islenian peoples. Along with Dorien, Guardian of the Land, she is one of two powerful immortals that maintain the Light of Being's protection over the world of Asteria.

Tall, with long curls of wheaten gold, large hazel eyes and a long nose, she is bold of character, determined and impulsive, but also honest and loyal. With her spirit and strength linked to the Sun, she can use her magic to shift into a great titian falcon.

Alora is sent to the Mortal Realm with a mission to find the Stone of Souls. To do so she must find her guide, Hunter, by using Yinala, the magical ring given to her by Destiny. As the story progresses, Alora's memories of her past life slowly return, revealing haunting truths and strange twists of fate with those around her.

Hunter

With a plain face, stocky frame and flaxen hair greying on the sides, Hunter looks to be nothing more than an ordinary Islenian woodsman - or is he? The strange bow upon his shoulder and the way he acts suggests someone, or something, vastly different lays beneath the surface.

The Tylonians and Islenians are plotting an attack on the Letharnians, and our story opens with Hunter and his young companion, Karalene, travelling the Sun Realm for information. They have been companions for over three months, but Hunter's past remains a mystery even to his friend.

Wearing Yingara, a jade ring of Light given to him by Destiny, Hunter is asked by Alora to be her guide into the Greenwood. A promise made to the Master of Light long ago forces him to accept, and they commence their journey to find the Stone of Souls. Along the way, the three companions navigate perils. Hunter's reasoning for aiding Alora slowly unravels...
